Marion L. Pucket

Marion L. Pucket, age 83, of Ulysses, Kansas died Thursday, December 22, 2011 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born August 30, 1928 in Elmira , New York , the daughter of Victor James and Gertrude Olive (Pattison) Willson.

Marion was a dedicated homemaker. She married Dale W. Pucket on January 22, 1957 in Phoenix , Arizona . Her family came first with her and she was a very loving mother to her four boys. She was also very active with her women’s church group. Marion enjoyed her flower gardens and being outside.

She is survived by her four sons, Daniel of Hot Springs, South Dakota, David of Ulysses, Kansas, Dean of Ulysses, Kansas, Duane of Mishawaka, Indiana; brother, Raymond Willson of New York; two sisters, Betty Iamly of South Carolina, Dorothy Hinkle of Salina, Kansas; 12 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Marion was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dale on November 28, 2005; sister, Ruth; and brothers, Don, Glen, and Jim.

Funeral service will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 PM at the Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church in Johnson , Kansas with Reverend Dave Kaufmann officiating. Interment will follow at the Ulysses Cemetery in Ulysses, Kansas . Friends may call Wednesday, December 28, 2011 from 10:00 AM until 8:00 PM at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
