Marilyn M. Randle, age 75, of Ulysses, Kansas died Monday, August 15, 2016 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses, Kansas. She was born September 2, 1940 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Leslie Dennis and Bernice Elizabeth (Roberts) King.
Marilyn a lifetime resident of Ulysses; was a farm wife and homemaker. She was a business major at Colorado Women’s College and Fort Hays State University. Marilyn married James Randle on June 2, 1962 in Ulysses. She was a member of Jr. Civic, the First United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women, and served as a cooking leader for 4-H. She enjoyed playing Bridge.
She is survived by her husband, James of their home; children, Barbara Symonds and Beverly Roth both of Denver, Colorado, Reverend Cameron Randle of Accomac, Virginia; one brother, Charles King of Castle Rock, Colorado; and five grandchildren, Rachael, Dylan, Jordan, Carter, and Angelica.
Marilyn is preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dennis Lee King; and son, Jeffrey Randle.
Memorial service will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church in Ulysses with Reverend Todd Guinn officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date at the Ulysses Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to the American Heart Association or the First United Methodist Church in care of Garnand Funeral Home, 405 W. Grant Ave, Ulysses, KS 67880.
