Marie Woodring, 92, Liberal, KS, died Sunday, September 11, 2011
at Southwest Medical Center, Liberal, KS.

She was born July 9, 1919 in Pratt County, KS, the daughter of
Charles E. & Lou Ella Horton Hibler.

Coming to Liberal she worked for the Robison family, Safeway’s, Furr’s,
54 Grocery and the Photo Shop.

She was an active member of the First Baptist Church and worked in the church nursery, VFW Lane Day Post #3166 Auxiliary, Liberal, KS.

Marie enjoyed children, loved to cook, knit, embroidery,
crochet, and working in her garden and yard.

On December 26, 1940, she married Charles "Junior" Woodring in
Liberal, KS, he died December 26, 1994.

She is survived by four brother, Charles Hibler and wife Jane, Dodge
City, KS; Bud Hibler and wife Joyce, Amarillo, TX; Don Hibler and
wife Judy, Tuscumbia, MO; Darrell Hibler and wife Lela, Eldon, MO;
two sisters, Joyce Hunt, Keyes, OK; Anna Adams, Eastland, TX;
many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents,
brother Tobe Hibler, three sisters, Vera Hibler, Lula White and Wanella
Jennings.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 P.M. Wednesday
at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Loren Robinson, presiding.

Interment will be in the Liberal Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Miller Mortuary 10 A.M.-8 P.M. Tuesday
and 9 A.M. til noon Wednesday.

The family suggests memorials to First Baptist Nursery or
Liberal Good Samaritan Center, in care of the mortuary.
