Maria Refugio Soto Nunez

Maria Refugio Soto Nunez, age 73, died Saturday, February 22, 2020, at her home just outside Liberal, Kansas. She was born May 13, 1946 in Mexico. The daughter of Manuel Soto and Belen Nunez of Mexico.

She moved to the United States in February of 1999, where she raised 8 children. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She was a member of St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She loved to garden, planting vegetables and flowers. She also loved to sew. Spending quality time with her family was her favorite pastime.

Maria was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitation will be Monday, February 24, 2020 at Brenneman- Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel from 10AM – 5PM.
Rosary will be at 7:00PM on Monday, February 24, 2020 at 7:00pm at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at 10:00AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Father Kola presiding. Burial to follow at Restlawn Cemetery.
