Maria Najera De Moreno

Maria Najera De Moreno, 76, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at her daughter’s residence in Wichita, Kansas.

She and Jose O. Moreno were married on January 22, 1966.

Maria was a mother all her life being the oldest of fourteen she helped raise her siblings, once married she raised seven children of her own making her the most loving tender-hearted person. She enjoyed attending church, reading, cooking, evening walks and spending time with family. Maria a was a devoted friend, mother and wife and will be missed by all.

She is survived by her husband, Jose O Moreno, Satanta, KS. Children, Javier Moreno, Enrique Moreno, Cristina Moreno, Susana Moreno, Maria Miramontes, Oscar Moreno, and Leonel Moreno; Siblings, Jose Najera, Ramon Najera, Paz Najera, Lazaro Najera, Olivia Najera, Socorro Najera, Cipriano Najera, Gila Najera, Alfonso Najera and Maria Najera; grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded by her parents, two grandchildren, Javier Moreno and Antonio Moreno, brothers, Jesus Manuel Najera, Leobardo Noe Najera and Jesus Maria Najera.

A memorial has been established for the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church. In the care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 747, Satanta, Kansas 67870.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, from 10 AM to 5 PM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Satanta, Kansas.

Funeral Mass service will be held Friday, May 6, 2022, at 7 PM at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Satanta, Kansas.
