Maria Cordilia Maynes Woodward

Maria Cordilia Maynes Woodward, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 14, 2015 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.

She was born March 8, 1952 to Jim and Petrita (Gonzales) Maynes in Clayton, N.M.

She was employed as a Nurse Aide at Southwest Medical Center for many years and was a member of the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church.

Survivors include three brothers: Cecil James Maynes and wife, Lori, Laverne, Okla., Leslie Maynes, Clayton, N.M. and Tommy Maynes and wife, Valerie, Trinidad, Colo.; sisters: Pat Martinez, Liberal, Roberta Richard and husband, Ernest, Keyes, Okla., Theresa Sanchez and husband, David, Trinidad, Colo., Frances Brown and husband Clay, Liberal, Dolly Swart, Guymon, Okla., Rosie Carter, Beebe, Ark., Stella Lucero and husband, Brian, Liberal and Julie Huffman and husband Ross of Naches, Wash.; stepfather, Conrad Martinez, Keyes, Okla.; stepmother, Beatrice Maynes, Clayton, N.M.; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.

She was preceded in death her parents; daughter, Maria Sandoval; nephew, R.C. Manriquez; and niece, Matilyn Ann Huffman.

• Rosary will be at 1:30 p.m. with the memorial service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Fr. George Fajardo presiding.

There will be no visitation time as cremation has taken place.
