Marcline Byrd

Marcline Byrd, 62, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home.

She was born on November 20, 1960 to Robert and Lovola (Baker) Eatmon at Liberal, KS.

Marcline was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1980. She worked as a Sale Associate for Safeway and Homeland; she late went on to work in Home Health and at Wheatridge Care Park. She enjoyed playing Bingo, lottery scratch-off tickets, cooking, crafts, making bouquets for weddings & church events. She loved visiting with family. She attended Bibleway Church of God In Christ of Liberal.

Marcline is survived by her Daughter, Lathea Byrd; Six Sisters, Taylor Jessie of Liberal, KS, Eatmon Stella of Liberal, KS, Fannie Mae Pugh of Milwaukee, WI, Jessie Mae Clay of Marion, AR, Bobbie Rae Eatmon of Liberal, KS, Eddie Mae Houston of Liberal, KS; Two Brothers, Robert Lee Eatmon of Liberal, KS, Solomon Eatmon of Wichita, KS; her significant other, Joe Clay; her beloved dog Zooka; many Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her Son, Larry “LJ” Wayne Byrd, Jr., Mother, Lovola B. Eatmon, Father, Robert Lee Eatmon, Sister, Ruby Lee Watson, Brother, Arthur Lee Eatmon,

Viewing will be 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Miller Mortuary.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, 2:00 pm at the Bibleway Church of God In Christ Liberal, KS with Pastor Everette Ponder, officiating.

Burial will take place in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
