Luis Carlos Juarez Ortiz

Luis Carlos Juarez Ortiz, 26, died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal Kansas.

He was born on October 20, 1994 in Liberal, the son of Elida Ortiz and Heriberto Melendez.
Luis graduated from Liberal High School in 2013 and obtained his associates degree at Seward County Community College.
Luis worked for JV Well Service, working in the Oil Fields, and at National Beef.

Luis enjoyed singing and rapping. He was a fan of Football. He also loved to joke around and pick on his sisters. He loved to make people laugh and smile.

Lesly Melendez and her husband Elias Lopez Liberal, Kansas

Grandfather Isaac Ortiz Mexico

He was preceded in death by his grandmother Guadalupe Mendez.

Visitation will be Monday, December 21, 2020 from 10am to 5pm at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas, 67901.
Followed by a Rosary at 7pm at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N Calhoun Ave., Liberal, Kansas, 67901.
Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday, December 22 at 10:30 am at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with Rev. Juan Salas celebrating the Funeral Mass. Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
