Linda Sue Gieselman, 72, of Hooker passed away December 26, 2020 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

Linda was born October 3, 1948 in Beaver, Oklahoma, the daughter of Everett and Mareta Wibking Hamilton. She went to school in Baker and then in Hooker graduating from Hooker High School with the Class of 1966.

Linda was united in marriage to Lonnie Gieselman on March 29, 1970 in Guymon, Oklahoma. They made their home in Guymon for four years and then moved to Hooker in 1977.

She managed the Love’s in Hooker for ten years, and was babysitter, cook and homemaker to her family.

Linda attended the 7th Day Adventist Church for a time and enjoyed gardening, sewing, crocheting reading and computer games online.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and two sisters, Patricia Dobbs and Nancy Weber, two great grandchildren, Karlie and Colten.

Survivors include her husband, Lonnie of the home; two daughters, Marie Melton of Hooker, Oklahoma, Natalie and Leland Lambert of Kismet, Kansas; one sister, Gladys Lauderdale of Buffalo, Oklahoma; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.

Graveside inurnment will be at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the Hooker Cemetery in Hooker, Oklahoma with Jordan Arnold of the Hooker Church of Christ officiating.

Memorials are suggested to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
