Linda Ruth Sittingdown was born on October 20, 1944 to Kenneth and Charlotte Rich in Beaver, Oklahoma. She was 80 years old when she transitioned peacefully on February 7, 2025. She was the only child of Kenneth and Charlotte Rich. 

She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth and her mother Charlotte Rich; Husband Johnny Sittingdown; son Johnny Jr; her grandparents Sam and Jesse Rich and William and Charlotte Irene Luby; and a grandson Jason Shane Cates. 

She is survived by her 6 children Sheila and her husband Greg of Beaver, Oklahoma; Billy and his wife Dawn of Beaver, Oklahoma; Johnanna and her husband Matt of Garden City, Kansas; James and his wife Brandy of Drumright, Oklahoma; Shelly and her husband Donnie of Raymore, Missouri and her 11 grandchildren – Angel, Amanda, Larissa, Christian, Tracy, Jennifer, Todd, Amber, Bayleigh, Carter, and Hayden. She has 22 great-grandchildren, and a host of loving friends and family.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2:00 pm at the Beaver Assembly of God Church at 206 E. Ninth Street in Beaver Oklahoma.
