Linda L. Bearce, age 77, passed away Tuesday, September 21, 2021, at Stanton County Long Term Care Unit in Johnson, Kansas. She was born October 11, 1943, in Pratt, Kansas, the daughter of Albert and Lois (Wilson) Clark.
Linda grew up in Pratt, Kansas, and moved to Syracuse, Kansas, with her family where she graduated in 1961. Linda married Dean Bearce on August 19, 1962, in Syracuse. They made their home in Syracuse before moving to the family farm in Manter in 1971. Over the years Linda worked in the medical field as a nurses aide, ward clerk, lab and x-ray technician, and a Doctor’s assistant.
She is survived by her loving husband, Dean of their home; daughter, Lisa Batterton and husband Lynn of Manter; son, Dean Bearce II and wife Leslie of Manter; six grandchildren, Larissa, Landon, Lucas, Bill, Quinton, and Kerri; two great-grandchildren, Nevaeh and Tobias; and one sister, Patricia Tyler of Texas.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Monday, September 27, 2021, at the Stanton County Cemetery in Johnson, Kansas, with Pastor Mary Courtney officiating. Friends may call from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at Garnand Funeral Home in Johnson.
