Linda Jo Abla, age 63, died Sunday, October 7, 2018, at her home in Liberal.
She was born March 17, 1955, at Edwards Air Force Base, California, and is the daughter of Arthur Hamilton and Wilma (Horner) Hamilton.
Linda grew up in Oberlin, Kansas and graduated from Decatur Community High School in 1973. She continued her education and graduated from Hutchinson Community College in 1975.
She was united in marriage to Randall Abla, on October 20, 1979, in Liberal, Kansas. They were married for 39 years.
She was an active member of Central Christian Church and also served on the Kismet Library Board.
Survivors include:
Son – James Abla of Wichita, Kansas
Daughters – Melissa Abla of Tyrone, Oklahoma and Machelle Zook (Caleb Zook) of Waynoka, Oklahoma
Brothers – Rohn Hamilton (Kris Hamilton) of Augusta, Kansas
Sisters – Marsha Kinder (Randy Kinder) of Salina, Kansas
Grandchildren – Kennedy Rose Zook and Kade Mathew Zook
Linda was preceded in death by Her Mother – Wilma Hamilton
Visitation will be on Thursday 3 pm to 7 pm, October 11, 2018, at the Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel, which is located at 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas 67901.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, October 12, 2018, at the Central Christian Church, 500 North Lincoln Ave., Liberal, Kansas. Services will conclude at the church. Pastor Chuck Scroggs presiding.
