Lin Goode

Lindel “Lin” Edgar Goode, 76, passed away on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Morton County Hospital in Elkhart, Kansas.

`Lindel was the son of Miron Frank and Thelma (Cullers) Goode. He was born on September 29, 1944 in Grants Pass, Oregon. He grew up in Walsh Colorado and graduated from Walsh High School.

Lin was owner and operator of Lin Goode and Company, started in 1987 in Hugoton, Kansas.

Lin and Betty Topliss were married on August 25, 1999 in Elkhart, Kansas.

Lin was a member of Hugoton Church of Christ. He was continually active within his church, as song leader, teacher and in helping others remodeling the church. He enjoyed the church and church family.

Lin loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He loved to sing and play the guitar. Lin’s hobbies were fishing, singing, and writing songs.

Survivors include wife, Betty Goode, Hugoton, KS.; three sons, Allen Goode and wife Karen, Heber Springs, AR., Darrell Goode and wife Ashley, Danny Goode and wife Traci; two daughters, Jolene Hines, Dianna Miller and husband Arick; two step sons Duane Topliss and wife Chrissy all of Hugoton, Leslie Topliss and wife Angie, Moline, KS; sister, Ellen Lowe and husband Roger, Watauga, Tx.; 15 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Ted Goode, grandson, Chance Topliss.

A memorial has been established for Hugoton Church of Christ. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Private Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10 AM at Hugoton Church of Christ, Hugoton, Kansas.

Public burial will be following at Hugoton Cemetery.

Viewing will be Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 10 AM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton, KS
