Lilia Jasmin Barajas, Itzayana Zaira “Chinita” Barajas, Isabella Maria “Belita” Barajas

Lilia Jasmin Barajas was born on June 14, 1991, the daughter of Jose S. Pando, and Maria de los Angeles Rivas de Pando in Liberal, Kansas.
Lilia graduated from Liberal High School and went on to attend Wichita University, where she achieved her greatest dream of becoming a nurse.
She was united in marriage to Jose Barajas on September 6, 2014, in Wichita, Kansas.
Lilia worked as a nurse in the infirmary at the El Darado Correctional Facility. She was highly respected by those she cared for in that facility because of her strong desire to help and care for people.

Itzayana Zaira “Chinita” Barajas was born on May 3, 2016, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Jose and Lilia. She completed the 1st grade at Colvin Elementary School in Wichita, Kansas. Chinita was a very happy caring child. She had a maternal, loving nature for caring for her sisters. Spending time with family was special for her . Itzayana Loved to sing.

Isabella Maria “Belita” Barajas was born on November 2, 2018, in Wichita, Kansas, to Jose and Lilia. She was the little boss of the family, using her strong personality and her facial expressions that were very persuasive. She loved cuddling and being with her family.

Lilia Jasmin Barajas is survived by her husband, Jose Barajas and daughter, Daenerys Sophia Barajas. Parents Jose S. Pando, and Maria de Los Angeles Rivas de Pando. Brothers, Jose Salamon Pando Jr. (Zenaida Pando) and Rodney Edward Pando.

She was preceded in death by her Grandparents; Manuel Octavio Pando Meza, Lilia Moncayo Moncayo, Jose A. Rivas Arzola and Juana Espinoza Mata.

Itzayana and Isabella are survived by their father, Jose Barajas and sister, Daenerys Sophia Barajas, and their Uncles and Aunts.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, on Monday, August 14, 2023, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home.

Recitation of the Rosary will be at 7:00 PM, Monday, August 14, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun, Liberal, Kansas. Reverend Charles Seiwert will celebrate the Mass.
A private Burial will take place.
