Lester Jackson, 51, of Elkhart, Kansas passed away August 1, 2018 at Northwest Texas Hospital in Amarillo, Texas.

Lester was born December 6, 1966 in Elkhart, Kansas. He attended school in Elkhart, Hugoton and Beaver.

After school he entered the oil field as a ruff neck working in oil fields near Hooker, Beaver and Ponca City, Oklahoma.

He attended the United Methodist Church in Elkhart, Kansas and enjoyed building things, fishing, rebuilding cars, especially Dodge.

Preceded in death by his mother, Mary Lou and an infant sister.

Survivors include two sons, Jesse & Jordan Hendricks of Grover, Oklahoma and William Sandoval-Jackson of Elkhart, Kansas; three daughters, Amber Davis of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Kayla Burd of Tulsa, Oklahoma and Suzanna Sandoval-Jackson of Elkhart, Kansas; two brothers, Marvin Milburn and Melvin Don Howard of Enid, Oklahoma; aunt, Maxine Hendricks of Elkhart, Kansas and Cassandra Sandoval of Elkhart, Kansas; six grandchildren, Gemma Davis, Jayleigh Hendricks, Jackson Hendricks, Freya Davis, Abel Burd and Jaizyn Hendricks.

Inurnment will be in the Hooker Cemetery, Saturday August 11, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.

Memorials are suggested for the families use and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma 73945.
