Leonard Leon Hill 81, retired farmer and school teacher, passed from this life on September 24, 2017 in Wichita KS.

Leonard was born August 7, 1936, in Turpin OK where he graduated from high school; he attended college at Panhandle State and then Southwestern State earning a Master’s in Education. Leonard taught school for 38 years until his retirement in 2000. He also spent a majority of his life farming in Turpin, OK on the family farm. He married Virginia A. Harris, May 7 1962.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife; Virginia “Ginger” Hill (Harris), parents; Robert R. Hill and Mildred O Hill (Anderson).

Leonard will be missed by his family, Brother Walter E. Hill of Oklahoma City OK, Daughters LuCinda Kathol (Brian), Dana Adams (Kent); two Granddaughters Kennadie and Karsen Adams all of Wichita KS; Samantha Kathol, Mustang OK and Tabatha Podrazik, Des Moines IA and three Great grandsons and a Nephew, Michael E. Hill and Niece, Melissa D Bradford.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm with the family present from 5 to 7 pm, Friday, September 29, 2017 at Brenneman funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the First United Methodist Church, 116 W. 3rd St., Liberal KS.

Graveside services and burial will be held at the Liberal Cemetery immediately following church services.

Memorials may be given to Liberal Animal Shelter or Liberal Kids Inc. in care of Brenneman Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 1212 w 2nd St., Liberal, KS 67901.
