Leona Marie Perry

Leona Marie Perry, of Beaver Oklahoma passed away on December 9, 2023.

Leona Marie Perry was born on March 3, in Moreland, Oklahoma to Leon and Margaret Chase. At age 9, her sister, Mary Jane and her were raised by her loving aunt and uncle, Mary and Cleator Chase. She graduated from Freedom High school in 1963 and proceeded to attend Northwestern in Alva. She met and married Billie Charles Perry in 1964 and to this Union 3 children were born, David Martin, Rebecca Dawn & Steven Dell. Leona had several careers through the years but the one she was most proud of was the position at OEDA area on aging. She started the elder fair in Beaver County that still happens every year. She was a long time member of the Beaver First Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her Father, Mother, Aunt and Uncle and great grand daughter, Emmy Grace .

She leaves husband, Billie of the home; son, David Perry, of Beaver, daughter, Rebecca and Russell Howard, of Logan, Oklahoma and son Steven and Rhonda Perry of Beaver, Oklahoma; sisters, Mary Jane and Johnny Steinbrecher,

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 2:00pm at the Beaver First Christian Church 517 Ave C, Beaver, OK 73932.
Interment will be at the at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Balko, Oklahoma under the direction of Alan Clark Funeral Services.
