Lawrence (Larry) M. Glaser

Lawrence (Larry) M. Glaser, age 64, passed away surrounded by his wife and children on Monday, June 22, 2020 at UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, CA. He was born December 24, 1955 in Phillipsburg, KS to Leonard and Mary (Slack) Glaser, longtime residents of the area. Following high school, Larry served in the U.S. Marine Corps.

Larry worked as a plant operator at Sunflower Electric Power Corporation in Liberal, KS for over 15 years until his retirement in 2015. Larry and Tracy then moved to Elk Grove, CA where he enjoyed taking care of his yard and many plants, restoring old furniture pieces, and spending time with his beloved family and friends.

He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Tracy (Phillips) Glaser; his two sons, Duane (Colleen) Sheldon of Plains, KS, and Brent (Stacy Reed) Glaser of Wichita, KS; his daughter, Taryn (Kamillia Brown) Glaser of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Vincent and Elliotte Glaser; and sister, Roxy Ward of Phillipsburg, KS.

Larry conveyed his wishes to have an outdoor celebration of life in the Midwest in the fall. Memorials can be sent as donations to the UC Davis Comprehensive Cancer Center through their online portal at give.ucdavis.edu.
