LaVonne Ann Honeman, 80, of Hooker, Oklahoma passed away December 25, 2020 at St. Frances Hospital in Wichita, Kansas.
LaVonne was born August 7, 1940 on the family farm north of Guymon, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Mary Lile Love. She attended school in Guymon, graduating from Guymon High School with the Class of 1958. She attended Panhandle A&M in Goodwell, Oklahoma for one year.
On November 20, 1959 at the Christian Church in Guymon, she was united in marriage to Larry Honeman. Larry passed away October 30, 2014.
They made their home on the Honeman Homestead West of Hooker, Oklahoma. She worked with Larry in all aspects of the farming. They moved from the farm into Hooker in 1999.
She was a member of Zeta Eta and was the valentine girl in 1968.
She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, jewelry, and her dogs. She attended the Wesleyan Methodist Church in Guymon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Larry, her son, Spencer and sister-in-law Mary Ann Honeman.
LaVonne is survived by her son, Mark Honeman of Hooker; daughter in law, Lisa Honeman of Hooker; brother-in-law, Jim Honeman of Hooker; sister, Blanche Kletecka of Guymon, special cousin, Wanda Reimer of Lubbock, Texas; granddaughter, Haley Honeman of Hooker and great grandson, Emersyn of Hooker.
Memorials are suggested to Breast Cancer Foundation or the Hooker EMS and may be left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Ok 73945.
Graveside services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the Hooker Cemetery with Pastor Mike McReynolds officiating.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday.
