Laura Lee (King) Baker, 87, died Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence in Liberal.
She was born on April 15, 1929, in Pickens, AR, to Frank and Mary Ann (Smith) King.
On April 21, 1947 she married Isahzear “Easy” Baker in Tillar, AR. He preceded her in death on May 16, 2012.
She worked at SWMC as a nurse aide and housekeeper.

28 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, 2 sons; James Lamar Franklin and Isahzear Baker Jr., 1 daughter Viola Baker. 3 brothers; Dave King, James King and Thomas King. 3 sisters; Mattie Summerville, Julia Ann King, and Frankie Grant. 2 grandsons, Jamel Lumar Scott Franklin and O.J. Baker.
Funeral services will be 1 pm Saturday, February 4th, at Bibleway Church of God In Christ in Liberal with Pastor Walter Witherspoon 2nd presiding. Burial will be in Liberal Cemetery.
Visitation will at Brenneman Funeral home from 1-5pm Thursday, and 9am-8pm Friday. Family will be present to greet friends from 4-6pm Friday.
