Larry Nemechek

Larry Nemechek, age 74, died Thursday, January 21, 2021 at the Stevens County Hospital.

He was born on February 6, 1946 son of Joseph and Rosie Dyburg Nemechek in Goodland, Kansas.

Larry graduated high school from Greely County High School in Tribune, Kansas.

He married Karla Hamous on September 9, 1972 in Tribune, Kansas. Together they raised 1 son and 3 daughters. Larry worked for G + Ag as a diesel mechanic for many years.

Survived by

His wife, Karla of Hugoton, Kansas,

one son, Terry Nemechek also of Hugoton,

three daughters Karla and husband, Jim Foltz of Humphrey, Nebraska, Toni and husband, Greg Grewell of Hugoton, Kansas and Carrie and husband Dave Hamker of Kellerton, Iowa,

two brothers, Frank and wife, Karen Nemechek, and Donald Nemechek both of Tribune, Kansas

one sister, Rosalie Abney of Wamego, Kansas.

Ten grandchildren, Tiffani, Tanya, Kim, Kelsi, Bailey, Miles, Karlee, Kenzie, Jacquelynn and Ross and nine great-grand children.

Larry was preceded in death by both his parents, Joseph and Rosie Dyburg Nemechek.

Funeral Services will be presided by Pastor Eric Mason at 10:00 AM on Saturday, January 30, 2020 at the Sovereign Redeemer Church on 500 E. 10th Street in Hugoton, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Sovereign Redeemer Church.
