Larry Lee Furr

Larry Lee Furr, 60, of Tyrone, Oklahoma passed away August 9, 2014 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.
Larry was born June 21, 1954 in Guymon, Oklahoma the son of Floyd S. “Pappy” and Eula Mae Ketcherside Furr.
He grew up in Tyrone where he attended school and graduated from Tyrone High School with the Class of 1973. After graduation he began his lifelong work in the oil field.
On October 16, 1981 in Perryton, Texas, Larry was united in marriage to Debbie Kneeland. They made Tyrone their home and in 2011 formed the Exact Oil Well Service which he continued to run until his health failed.
Larry was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal, Kansas; enjoyed the Thursday Night Bowling League in Liberal; rode horses and enjoy time in the casinos but his grandkids where his biggest enjoyment.

Survivors include his wife, Debbie of the home; his children, son, Josh and Laci of Liberal, Kansas; daughters, Nichole of Turpin, Oklahoma and Crystal of Tyrone, Oklahoma; four grandchildren, Andrew, Mason, Allee and Peyton; three brothers, William & Verlena Furr of Yarbrough, Oklahoma, Kenny & Brandy Furr of Crescent, Oklahoma and Kelly of Tyrone, Oklahoma; five sisters, Kathy McCoy of Tyrone, Oklahoma, Alene Smith of Wichita, Kansas, Judy and Ira Downs of Tyrone, Oklahoma, Juanita Van Orden of Tyrone, Oklahoma and Annette Jantzen of Tyrone, Oklahoma;
Memorials are suggest to St. Jude’s Children Hospital or Shriner’s Hospitals and maybe left at Roberts Brothers Funeral Home, Box 745, Hooker, Oklahoma, 73945.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2014 at Fellowship Baptist Church in Liberal, Kansas with Pastor Bill Prater officiating. Interment will be in the Tyrone Cemetery directed by Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma.
