Larry Edmond Bryan , 82, of Tyrone, passed away on July 15, 2021 in his home in Tyrone, Oklahoma
Larry was born on October 3, 1938 to Walter and Adeline (Frank) Bryan at Liberal, Kansas. He attended school at Eureka High School graduating in 1956 and Oklahoma State University graduating in 1962.
On November 18, 1961 he married Judy McDaniel at the First Christian Church in Liberal, Kansas. They lived in many places after getting married while he working in the oil industry before moving back to Tyrone to work on the family farm in 1967.
He took the most pride in his work on the family farm over the years, putting blood, sweat, and tear into the ground. He really enjoyed woodworking, carpentry, crossword puzzles, watching Jeopardy, and John Wayne movies. He was also fascinated by geology and aviation. He loved to spend time with his family, especially with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge in Tyrone and a member of the Tyrone School Board for 10 years.
Larry is survived by his loving spouse of 59 years Judy, Two Sons, Darrell W Bryan of Tyrone, OK, Eric E Bryan of Tyrone, OK; Daughter, Amy E Mosburg of Neosho, Mo; Grandchildren Lauryn Mosburg of Garden City, KS and Logan Mosburg and wife Bethany of Garden city, Ks; and Great Grandchildren, Ayden and Adelynn.
He was preceded in death by His Parents, Brother Robert F. Bryan and Sister Joyce Conner.
Visitation will be held Monday, July 19, 2021, 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Miller Mortuary, with the family being present from 5:30- 6:30 to greet friends.
A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2021, 10:00 am at the Tyrone Cemetery.
