Larry Frank Clark
(August 21, 1940 – December 18, 2011)

U.S. Veteran Larry Frank Clark, 71, of Optima, Oklahoma went to Heaven December 18, 2011 at Baptist St. Anthony’s Hospital in Amarillo, Texas. The fifth child of Jess Marvin and Vida Marie Butler Clark, Larry was born August 31, 1940 in Catoosa, Oklahoma. The family moved to Adams in 1942. He attended school in Adams and graduated from Guymon High School. He entered the U.S. Army serving in Germany. After his honorable discharge Larry returned to Wichita, Kansas and later to Optima to help his father in the roofing business. He became the owner of Clark Roofing in 1970 until his death. Larry was working on a job until Saturday, December 17. He was a 32 degree Mason and a member of the Hooker Masonic Lodge. Many things describe Larry’s life, most prevalent is perseverance and being with his extended family. He will be greatly missed. Larry is preceded in death by his parents and twin brothers, Harold and Gerald. Beloved brother of Lee Clark of Optima and Trixie June Johnston of Tampa, Florida and Evelyn Arlene Bowers of Kingfisher, Oklahoma. Memorial service is Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma with Bill Newman officiating. Cremation preceded services under the direction of Roberts Brothers Funeral Home in Hooker, Oklahoma. Memorials are suggested to the Veteran’s association of the donor’s choice.
