Kyle Sellmyer

Kyle Sellmyer, 28, died Sunday, March 3, 2013, in Amarillo, Texas.

He was born in July 1984 to Lisa Sellmyer and Greg and Judy Sellmyer.

He graduated from high school in 2002 in Liberal and attended the

University of Oklahoma, graduating with degrees in finance and accounting.

He was an accounting manager at Canyon Exploration in Amarillo.

He was a member of the Phi Gamma Delta fraternity and an Eagle Scout.

He enjoyed mountain biking, backpacking, snowboarding and wake boarding, as well as fitness, traveling with family, literature, art, reading, philosophy and painting.

He is survived by his grandparents, Mary and Ken Kerle, Topeka, and Lyman Kipp, Naples, Fla.; his parents; his sister, Amy Sellmyer, Kathmandu, Nepal; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jack and Amy Sellmyer, and twin infant sisters, Chelsea and Lauren.

• Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Vondel L. Smith & Sons Mortuary North, 13125 N. MacArthur in Oklahoma City, with the Rev. Scott Bulmer presiding.

In lieu of

flowers, memorials are suggested to Heartline, Oklahoma’s suicide prevention and outreach center.
