Kyle Jacob Heeke, age 38, of Montgomery, Texas, died suddenly Monday, October 16, 2023.
He was born on April 1, 1985, to Ronald Mark Heeke and Cynthia Jane (Chamberlain) Heeke in Liberal, Kansas.
Kyle graduated from Kearney High School, Kearney, Missouri.
He was employed in the paintless dent repair and tile installation businesses.
He was quite artistic, creating numerous oil paintings, and pencil and charcoal drawings for his own enjoyment, and that of family.
He had a fondness for all animals, and a special love for his own pets.
Kyle enjoyed gardening and outdoor activities. He attended many Kansas City Chiefs football games and watched on TV those that he couldn’t attend in person. He was an avid Kansas Jayhawks fan. He appreciated that he was able to attend a Kansas City Royals World Series baseball game.
Kyle had a huge heart and was fiercely loyal to family and friends. He was an ardent advocate for all children and passionately defended their innocence. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all that had the pleasure to know him.
He is survived by his father, Ron Heeke, brother Josh Hamilton, sister, Jayci Hamilton-Stratton and her husband, William, grandmothers, Marcella Heeke, and Donna Hanquist, and step-grandfather, Arlyn Hanquist, nieces and nephews, Mickey, Mayci, Kaydin, and Layla.
Preceded in death by his mother, Cynthia Jane Heeke, grandfathers, Alfred Heeke, and Jay Chamberlain.
Funeral Services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, October 27, 2023, at the Hornung Funeral Home Chapel, 1212 W. 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.
Interment will follow in the Liberal Cemetery.
