MEADE – Kristofer Daniel Rosendahl, age 42, passed away Wednesday morning, July 29, 2020, in rural Meade County, Kansas.
He was born April 12, 1978, at Karlstad, Sweden, the son of Dan and Joyce (Friesen) Rosendahl. As a young boy he attended school in Saffle, receiving his vocational degree. He later joined the Swedish military, which was mandatory in Sweden.
On September 26, 2008, he married Christina Shelton at Meade, Kansas. After their marriage, they made their home in Meade. He was a Combine Technician for American Implement of Montezuma, Kansas. While working for American Implement, he attended the John Deere University, receiving his Master Mechanic certification.
He was a member of the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade. He enjoyed shooting sports and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Christina of Meade; a daughter, Teghan Rosendahl of Meade; a stepson, Zachary Hailey of Meade; a stepdaughter, MaKenzie Hailey of Plains, Kansas; his father, Dan Rosendahl; four sisters, Louisa Rosendahl, Kristina Rosendahl, Annelie Lundberg, and Jennifer Rosendahl; paternal grandparents, Mats and Ingri Rosendahl; mother-in-law, Kim Geddes of Meade; a sister-in-law, Shandi Ross of Meade; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his mother Joyce Rosendahl.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 5, 2020, at the Emmanuel Mennonite Church, Meade. Cremation has taken place and private family interment will follow at a later date.
The family would welcome memorials to the Kristofer Rosendahl Memorial Fund in care of Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade.
