Kitty Lou Brack 73, died, Monday, December 7, 2015 at Wheatridge Park
Care Center in Liberal, KS. She was born Jan. 24, 1942 in Stafford, KS
the daughter of John B. and Erma (Headding) Kendall. She graduated from
St. John High School in St. John, Kansas in 1960. After high school she
attended Pratt Community College in Pratt, KS for one year before going
to Sidney’s Beauty School in Hutchinson, KS. She has lived in Liberal
for the past 46 years, but had also lived in Wichita for three years and
Great Bend for one year. Besides being a hairdresser she had worked at
Jo-Le’s Dress Shop and did alterations and made custom drapes from her home.
She worked for USD 480 working as a Library aide at South Middle School,
West Middle School and retired in 2006 while at Liberal High School. She was a
lifetime member of the American Legion Auxiliary and also member of the Liberal
Women’s Club. As a child she was active in the Girl Scouts and
later became a Girl Scout Leader. She was active in the Good Shepherd Lutheran
Church serving many positions on the Council and teaching Sunday School. She
served as a Committee Member for Boy Scout Troop 47. She enjoyed reading,
traveling, sewing and loving her pets.
On May 15, 1965 she married Wendell D. Brack in St. John, Kansas. He
survives.

2 Sons Michael W. Brack, and Mark A. Brack of Liberal, KS
1 Daughter Johnna S. Kendall Topeka, KS
She was preceded in death by parents; infant brother and one sister
Elizabeth Ann Homer Siemens.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 am Saturday, December 12, 2015 at
the Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church with Pastor Andrew Wehling and
Judge Tommy Webb officiating.
Visitation time will be held from 9 am to 8 pm Friday with the family
present from 6 to 8 pm to greet friends at Brenneman Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be sent to the American Legion Auxiliary Post 80 or the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation in care of Brenneman Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd
Liberal, Kansas 67901.
