Kincaid L. Meyers

Kincaid L. Meyers, age 15, passed away Saturday morning, June 3, 2017, in rural Meade County, Kansas, as a result of an automobile accident.
He was born December 5, 2001, at Liberal, Kansas, the son of Todd and Irlana (Burns) Meyers. As a young boy, he attended Meade Elementary School. He later attended Meade High School and had recently completed his Freshman year. A lifetime resident, he was a student, ranch hand, and an athlete.
He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church, LYF, M-Club, Skills USA, and the Leadership Council. He enjoyed golfing, playing cards, participating in sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Irlana, of rural Meade; a brother, Logan Meyers of rural Meade; paternal grandparents, Larry and LaDonna Meyers of rural Meade; maternal grandfather, Harry Burns of Jetmore, Kansas; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Arlesta Meyers and maternal grandmother Deloris Burns.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2017, at the Meade High School Auditorium, Meade, with the Reverend Lynn E. Spencer presiding. Friends may call from 1:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, with the family present to receive friends. Interment will follow the funeral service in the Atwater Cemetery, rural Meade.
The family would welcome memorials to St. John Lutheran Church Fellowship Hall in care of the funeral home.
