Kevin M. Kelly, 42, of Greenbrier Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on October 16, 2021. He was born on October 31, 1978, in Liberal, KS. Kevin was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Pat Kelly as well as Robert and Vinnie “Peewee” Hickey.
Kevin is survived by his loving wife, Nicci, whom he married on March 20, 1999, at the First United Methodist Church in Liberal, KS, and by his three sons, Ian, Isaiah, and Isaac. His parents, Michael and Teresa Kelly, sister, Jennifer Hayes. He also leaves behind a large loving family of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
He grew up and attended school in Tyrone Oklahoma, he graduated in 1997. Throughout his school years he played baseball and football. Post-graduation, Kevin began the start of a 22-year long career in the oil industry. Fellow workers say he was a man who would always be there for them when he was needed. He was a hardworking and caring man; he was a teacher to his sons. He never missed a moment with his family and was always the first one ready to go out on an adventure. He loved his home and the outdoors as well as taking his family to new places. Above all, Kevin was an amazing husband and father who loved, adored, and cherished his family every day. No task was too tall, and no mountain was too high to climb.
Kevin was valued as a man who gave, sacrificed, guided, nurtured, and served as the model of a God-fearing man in an always quiet and strong manner. He was a very smart and motivated man who could fix anything and never allowed his family to struggle. He will be greatly missed by many, but leaves us with tons of memories and lessons to carry on and continue his generous way of life.
Visitation will be at 1pm, Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Greenbrier with funeral services following at 2pm.
