Kevin Lyndell Arnett

Kevin Lyndell Arnett, 83, of Liberal, passed away on Tuesday December 26, 2023 at Liberal Good Samaritan Center.

He was born on March 14, 1940 to Harold Guy and Doris Fidelia (Webber) Arnett at Liberal, KS.

On May 19, 1964 he married Nedra Stansberry at Guymon, OK. Nedra preceded him in death on April 13, 2020.

Kevin was a graduate of Liberal High School; class of 1957. He grew up on a farm and continued custom cutting for farms after he and Nedra were married from Texas to North Dakota. In 1970 Kevin and Nedra moved to Sublette, KS. He managed Haskell Land and Cattle Co; the first Corporate Farm in Kansas. In 1984 they moved back to Liberal and opened A&A Auto Center, which Kevin operated until 2002. Kevin loved cars and being a Mechanic. He also loved auto racing and competing as a race car driver.

Kevin is survived by his son, Kedrin Guy Arnett of Pryor, OK; two daughters, Chawan Lee Tompkins of Baytown, TX and Keva Lynn Adams of Eufaula, OK; sister, Alana Drew of Bandara, TX; brother, Galen Arnett of Wichita, KS; eight grandchildren, 12 great Grandchildren, many nieces, and nephews.

He was also preceded in death his parents, Brother Richard Arnett, two Nephews, Ricky Arnett and Dennis Arnett.

Viewing will be 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Friday January 5, 2024 at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, KS.

A Dual Funeral & Memorial Service for Kevin and Nedra will be held at 10:00 am Saturday January 6, 2024 at Friends Church located at 1650 N Western Ave, Liberal, KS with Pastor Jeff Nagell, officiating.
