Karin Johanna (Crose) Welch was born September 12th, 1954 in Weimar, Germany and passed away at her home in Hooker, Oklahoma on September 28th, 2024.
She moved to the United States as a young girl. Karin had her one and only child, her son, Taylor Ray Heinson in August of 1976. Then she spent her time working and also attending and graduating cosmetology school in 1981. She managed various restaurants and convenience stores over the years and also worked many years at Seaboard. She was a resident of Hooker, Oklahoma for the last 25 years.
Throughout her life she enjoyed being on a bowling league, reading her books, gardening, cooking, shopping and adding to her many collections but most of all she loved her time with family whether it be an hour long phone call to catch up or a visit in person. She loved spending time with her son and daughter, Taylor and Andrea and her grandkids and was very much looking forward to her grandson’s wedding and helping with the planning. Then of course all of her time was spent with her baby, Leo and the two of them were like two peas in a pod. Karin also loved her brothers, Tom and Tony and was always talking about one of her many phone calls with one of them or one of her nephews. She loved keeping up with how everyone was doing, making sure to keep up with all the latest beauty shop talk with her treasured friend, Tara Cordova. If you were lucky enough to be loved by Karin then you sure knew it.
Karin is survived by her son Taylor Heinson and his wife Andrea, grandson Matthew Kenney and fiancé, Lena Fortine, and granddaughters Ashten & Mackenzie Kenney, all of El Dorado, KS, her beloved dog Leo, brother Thomas (Kristina) Crose Sr of Chappell, NE, brother Tony (Lisa) Wallace of Stewart, TN, close nephews Tommy (Aislinn) Crose of Sidney, NE, Clint(Theresa) Crose of Sterling, CO, Kerry(Tia) Crose of Lodgepole, NE and Jason (Samantha) Crose of Chappell, NE.
