Karen Ann Beck, 73, of Turpin, OK passed away on Friday April 13, 2018 at her home.

She was born on December 21, 1944 to John and Dorothy (Doty) Starlin at Beatrice, Nebraska

In 1958 she married William Beck at Liberal, Kansas; he survives.

Karen spent her early childhood travel through the United States with her parents. After marrying William she held numerous jobs including working for the City of Liberal, Beech Aircraft and Managing the D & K Outlet Thrift Shop with her mother in Tyrone, OK. Karen enjoyed doing puzzles, camping and water skiing with her family at Wolf Creek State Park in Perryton, TX. She was a lifetime member of the Liberal VFW Women’s Auxiliary.

She is also survived by her son – Billy Beck of Turpin, OK; daughter – Lisa Fulmer and husband Tim of Paris, AR; the grandsons – Brian, Michael and James Fulmer; Three Brothers- Gary Starlin of Beatrice, NE, Charles Starlin of Charlotte, SC, and John Starlin of Fresno, CA; Four Sisters – Joyce Willa Ray of Elverta, CA.; Vickie Detter of Beatrice Nebraska; Barbie Warford of Beatrice Nebraska, and Sharon Hindera of Lincoln Nebraska

She was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter – Penny Gail Beck

Funeral services will be 10:00am Thursday April 19, 2018 at the Miller Mortuary Chapel.

Burial will follow the Satanta, KS Cemetery.
