Justin N. Price, age 34, passed away early Saturday morning, December 9, 2017, at his Plains, Kansas, residence.
He was born December 20, 1982, at Meade, Kansas, the son of Lester Junior and Anna (Linaweaver) Price. As a young boy he attended the Plains school system, graduating from Southwester Heights High School in 2001.
He attended the United Methodist Church and enjoyed collecting various items, including Coca Cola products, listening to music, and caring for animals, including his dog Megan.
He is survived by a his mother, Anna Lanford and stepfather Rick of Plains; a sister, Krystal Bowman of Plains; two brothers, Casey Cooley and wife Tasha and Burrel Cooley and wife Kelsey, both of Meade; maternal grandmother and guardian, Mary Linaweaver of Plains; uncles, Don Linaweaver and wife Michele, David Linaweaver and wife Jessica, Curtis Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Rick Price, and Jerry Price; step-grandparents, Richard and Betty Lanford of Liberal; seven nieces and nephews; several great-nieces, great-nephews, and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Delbert Linaweaver; a stepsister, Kim Lanford; stepfather, Michael Bowman; uncle Aaron Price; and several aunts and uncles.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 20, 2017, at Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade. Inurnment will follow the service at 3:00 p.m. at the Plains Cemetery, Plains. Cremation has taken place.
The family would welcome memorials to the Liberal Animal Shelter in care of the funeral home.
