Julia Jane Bohannan

Julia Jane Bohannan, 77, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at  Wheatridge  
Park Care Center in Liberal, KS

She was born March 9, 1934 in  Osage County , OK, the daughter of Francis 
Marion and Theresa Marie (Rector) Watkins. She was a graduate of 
 Pawhuska High School  in  Pawhuska, OK .
She was a longtime Liberal resident having worked at  Southwestern Bell  
Telephone and then at Walmart as a Pharmacy Technician from 1986 – 2003. 
She was also a homemaker and seamstress.
On July 24, 1953, she married J.B. Bohannan at  Dewey, OK . He died on 
September 16, 2003.
She is survived by

2 Sons – Jay Bohannan of  Texas 
Timothy Bohannan and wife Sheryl of Liberal, KS

1 Daughter - Donna Kay Harper and husband Steve of  Hugoton, KS 

1 Brother - William Watkins of Porter, OK

8 Grandchildren – Candice Wells, Tammy Franz, Eric Bohannan, Amy 
Bohannan, Brandi Bohannan, Paige Bohannan, Chris Harper and Chelsie Harper

14 Great-Grandchildren

She was preceded in death by her parents, infant Son – Tommy Bohannan 
and a daughter Mary Katherine Bohannan

Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, Aug. 5th at Brenneman 
Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerry Dupuis presiding. Burial will be at 
Restlawn Cemetery.

Visitation will be 5 – 8 pm Thursday at Brenneman Funeral Home.
