Judy (Miller) Nedom

Judy (Miller) Nedom went home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 11th, 2020 after a long stay at The KU Medical Center in Kansas City, Kansas.

She was born to Lawrence and Geraldine Marie (Longtin) Miller on March 9th, 1949 in Garden City, Kansas where she enjoyedher childhood on the farm.

After graduating high school, Judy attended Sydney’s Hairdressing college in Hutchinson, Kansas. She later operated her own beauty salon in Ulysses.

In 1970 Judy became a Christian and never looked back.   Her love and dedication to the Lord grew throughout her entire life and was at its strongest when she passed on to be with Him.

In the summer of 1978 Judy met Robert L. Nedom.  They were married on November 18th.  In the 42 years they were married, their love grew stronger and stronger.  With the last years truly being the best years.

During her lifetime Judy served the Lord faithfully both in and out of the church.  Judy is remembered for being a “good Samaritan.”  Always giving a helping hand to anybody who was in need.  She studied her Bible daily and prayed constantly for all those in her life.   Judy was always eager to show hospitality,and as a result spent countless hours in the kitchen providing meals for family, friends and church gatherings.

Judy also enjoyed quilting/sewing, camping, gardening and getting together with family.

She is survived by her husband Robert Nedom, Ulysses, Kansas; Two sons, Chris Binney and wife Monique, Ulysses, Kansas; Aaron Binney and wife Angi, Hutchinson, Kansas; Three brothers, Tony Miller and wife Cynthia, Ulysses; Pat Miller and wife Laura, Garden City, Kansas; Mike Miller and wife Teresa, Clinton, Oklahoma; one sister Connie Lewis and husband Bill, Liberal, Kansas; six grandchildren, Kristen Marquez, Emmy Camacho and husband Cristian, Zach Binney, Jozlynn LaDueand husband Cody, Lily Grace Binney, and Maria Binney; 5 great grandchildren Azariah, Mavis, Mateo, Hathan, and Hartley; and many other family, friends and loved ones.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, David Miller and Bob Jones

Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 17th, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. located at Oasis Church Officiated by Bruce McGlohon.

Robson Funeral Home, Ulysses is in charge of arrangements.
