Judy Ann (Singley) Zordel

Judy Ann (Singley) Zordel, 72, went to be with Jesus peacefully surrounded by her daughters on Sunday night, September 26, 2021, in Hugoton, Kansas.

She was born to William R. Singley and Lois A. (Hall) Watson on June 16, 1949, in Liberal, Kansas.

She taught medical assistant classes for Apollo and Carrington College in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Judy loved her children and grandchildren very much. She was proud of them.  She enjoyed cooking, baking cookies, watching Hugoton Eagles Basketball and OU football. Judy drove the bus for USD 210 Hugoton Public Schools.

Judy was very loved by all in the community. She had a giving and caring heart like no one else. She loved deeply and she impacted a lot of lives. Judy will be missed by all.

Survivors include four daughters, Marti Zordel, Burlington, North Carolina, Monica Owens, Albuquerque, NM., Amy Knox and husband Chris, Yukon, OK., Amber Zordel, Blue Springs, MO.; sister, Mary Frances Goebel, Tulsa, OK.; 14 grandchildren, Lucky Merz, Justus Merz, Pierce Browder and wife Carrie, Tobie Browder, Nickolas Evans, Taiya Owens, Tristan Owens, Darian Knox, Tatum Richardson and Ryan, Loudan Knox, Bailey Rathbun, Brea Rathbun, Erin Rathbun and Otis Rathburn and 2 great grandsons, Callan Browder and Logan Browder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Andree Catlin.

A memorial has been established for Hugoton Eagles Sport Boosters. In care of Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, Kansas 67951.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 30, 2021, 2 PM to 8 PM and Friday, October 1, 2021, 10 AM to 8 PM, Robson Funeral Home, 314 S. Van Buren, Hugoton, Kansas.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, October 2, 2021, 10 AM, First Christian Church, Hugoton, Kansas with Pastor Heath Kelley presiding. Burial to follow at Hugoton Cemetery.

Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton is in charge of arrangements.
