Juanita Earlene Weeks, 86, died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at the Satanta District Long Term Care Unit in Satanta, KS
She was born on October 3, 1927 to Mace and Minnie (Subke) Stucker at Garden City, KS.
She was a graduate of Garden City High School.
On May 26, 1945 she married Edwin "Tuffy" Weeks at Garden City, KS. He preceded her in death on January 28, 2012.
Juanita and Edwin lived on a farm near Satanta, KS from 1963 until Edwin retired in 1990 and then moved into Satanta.
Juanita is survived by 2 Sons – Brad Weeks of Satanta, KS, Bruce Weeks of Hutchinson, KS; 2 Daughters – Helen Weeks of Liberal, KS, Kathryn Mauch of Lamar, CO, 9 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, an infant son: Donald Dea Weeks, 2 Brothers: Harold and Donald, 1 Great Grandson: Logan Redman.
Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
Memorials are suggested to the Satanta Long Term Care Unit in care of Miller Mortuary 908 N. Lincoln Ave. Liberal, KS
