Juan Miguel Sevilla, age 42, died on Friday, January 3, 2025, at his residence in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on January 15, 1982, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico to Miguel Angel Sevilla and Maria de la Luz Guzman.

He pursued his dreams by attending truck driving school, becoming a respected truck driver for a milk company. Juan was a devoted father to his beloved children, Juan Miguel Jr. Sevilla and Jimena Sevilla, both of whom were the light of his life. Juan will be profoundly missed, but his memories will forever remain.

He is survived by his parents, Miguel Sevilla and Maria da la Luz Guzman, of Liberal, Kansas,

Daughters, Jimena Sevilla, Liliana Molina of Liberal, Kansas,

Brother Francisco Sevilla of Liberal, Kansas,

Sister, Fatima Sevilla of Liberal, Kansas,

Nieces, Odette Ortega, Olivia Ortega, and

Nephew, Oliver Ortega of Liberal, Kansas.

Visitation will be 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary to follow at 7:00 PM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, January 11, 2025, at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N. Calhoun Street, Liberal, Kansas Reverend Charles Seiwert will be Celebrating.

An interment will be at a later date in Mexico.
