Joyce L Day, 88, of Turpin, OK passed away on Tuesday November 24, 2020 at the Morton County Senior Living Center in Elkhart, KS.

She was born on July 26, 1932 to Harley and Pearl (Ross) Davis in Gate, OK.

On November 4, 1950 she married Robert Day in Reno, NV; he preceded her in death on January 8, 2006.

She was a graduate of Forgan High School; class of 1950. The day after she and Robert were married Robert left for Korea and Joyce returned home. Upon Robert’s return from Korea they briefly lived in Liberal, KS before settling in Turpin, OK. Joyce was a representative for Avon and later worked as a cook at Turpin Public School. Joyce enjoyed cross stitching, cooking, baking, and being a grandma. Her children and grandchildren have many fond memories of spending time with her while they were young. She was a member of the Turpin First United Methodist Church..

Joyce is survived by her Two Sons, Eugene Day of Turpin, OK, Scott Day and wife Amanda of Happy, TX; Sister, Betty Jean Stickler of Turpin, OK; Eight Grandchildren and 16 Great Grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death her parents, Daughter, Linda Day, Two Brothers, Harley Davis, Jr. and Jack Davis.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 am Saturday, November 28, 2020, at the Turpin United Methodist Church, with Pastor Reece Player, officiating. Service will be streamed on Facebook Live through the Miller Mortuary Facebook page.

Burial will follow at the Forgan Cemetery in Forgan, OK.
