Joyce Ann Guenther, 65, lifelong area resident, passed away Saturday morning, June 25, 2022 at the Memorial Hospital of Texas County.

The daughter of Boyd and Alice (McClure) Gilbert, she was born October 29, 1956 in Elkhart, Kansas.

Joyce attended school in Elkhart, graduating with the Class of 1975. She and Mark Guenther were married on September 22, 1976 in Elkhart. She attended Christ Lutheran Church in Elkhart.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Boyd and Alice Gilbert, one sister, and three brothers.

Survivors include her husband, Mark Guenther, and daughter, Valerie Ray of the home, five grandchildren: Mackenzie, Madison, Hunter, Hudsen and Maverick, and two brothers, Dan Gilbert and wife, Donna of Perryton, Texas and Ted Gilbert of Arizona.
