Josephine (Jodi) Lynn Seabolt

Josephine (Jodi) Lynn Seabolt, age 55, of Ulysses, Kansas, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023, at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses. She was born October 7, 1968, in Woodward, Oklahoma, the daughter of Dale and Lovella (Hagen) Dennett.

Jodi graduated from Liberal High School. On June 15, 1989, she married Charles Seabolt in Kismet, Kansas, at the First United Methodist Church. They lived in various places settling in Ulysses. While living in Cimarron, Jodi operated a day care. Charles and Jodi had two sons, Austin and Boomer. She enjoyed being a homemaker and caregiver to her family.

Jodi is survived by her husband, Charles of the home; son, Boomer of the home; mother, Lovella Dennett of Ulysses; brothers, Don and wife, Sherrie Dennett of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Tim and wife, April Dennett of El Reno, Oklahoma; nieces and nephews.

Jodi is preceded in death by her father, Dale; son, Austin Seabolt; and grandparents, CW and Mildred Dennett and Joe and Hannah Hagen.

A memorial service will be Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 2:00 pm at Shelton Memorial Christian Church in Ulysses with Pastor Casey Chapman officiating.
