Jose Cipriano Calvillo

Jose Cipriano Calvillo, 82, died Friday, June 2nd, 2023 at Southwest Medical Center in Liberal, Kansas.

He was born on September 26, 1940 in Santa Rita, Mexico to Lazaro Calvillo and Filomena Barrientos.

In 1967, he married the love of his life, Maria De Jesus Calvillo in Mexico. She preceded him in death on December 8, 2013.

He worked for many years in the oil and gas fields, as a field worker.

He is survived by his sons;
Cipriano Calvillo Jr. and his wife Maria of Turpin, Oklahoma
J. Jesus Calvillo and his wife Patricia of Turpin, Oklahoma
Raul Calvillo and his wife Roberta of Hooker, Oklahoma
Ramiro Calvillo and his wife Maria of New Mexico
His daughters;
Alicia Segovia of Boise City, Oklahoma
Teresa Amparan and her husband Oscar of Liberal, Kansas
Norma LaSalle and her husband Jeff of Charlotte, North Carolina
His Brother; Pedro Calvillo of San Saba, Texas

Grandchildren
Adonis, Allison, Kimberly, and Marcy Segovia; Joseph, Adrian, Briana, Ramrio Jr. and Fabian Calvillo; Michael and Max Calvillo; Victoria, Oscar and Yadria Amparan.

Great Grand Children
Blu, Olivia and Marisol Bello; Maria and Mason Villareal; Elijah and Anestasia Segovia; Damian and Ximena Hernandez.

He was preceded in death by his parents, His wife Maria, and many brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be Monday, June 5, 2023, from 9am to 5pm at the Hornung Family Funeral Home, 1212 W 2nd Street, Liberal, KS.
Rosary will follow at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church at 7pm.

A Service of Christian Burial will take place at 10am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 1510 N Calhoun Ave, Liberal, KS. Burial to follow at Liberal Cemetery.
