Jordan Blayne Forbit: UPDATE

Jordan Blayne Forbit, age 18, of Elkhart, Kansas died Wednesday, November 20, 2013 in Manhattan, Kansas. He was born February 19, 1995 in Antlers, Oklahoma the son of Charles E. Forbit and Amber Marshall.

Jordan grew up in Elkhart, Kansas and graduated from Elkhart High School in May 2013. Jordan was active and had many talents. During his years at EHS, he participated in football, basketball, track, band, choir, school plays, art and cheer squad. He was currently a student at Kansas State University studying arts and science.

Survivors include his parents; Allen Daves of Elkhart, Kansas and Amber Marshall of Atoka, Oklahoma, three brothers; Peyton Daves of Elkhart, Kansas, Bailin Marshall of Atoka, Oklahoma and Christopher Forbit of Texas, two sisters; Kayla Langston-Daves of Durant, Oklahoma and Emily Forbit of Texas, grandparents; David and Kathy Cannon of Atoka, Oklahoma, grandmother; Kay Daves of Elkhart, Kansas and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jordan is preceded in death by his granddad; Tracy Daves.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Elkhart High School Auditorium with Reverend Terrell Giddens presiding. Burial will follow at the Elkhart Cemetery, Elkhart, Kansas. Friends may call on Monday, November 25, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Garnand Funeral Home, Elkhart, Kansas.
