Jonathan Abrahan Cruz, 20 years old, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. The son of Sixtos and Maria (Cardona) Cruz, he was born on December 2, 2002, in Liberal, Kansas.
Jonathan graduated from Hugoton High School in 2021. His hobbies included working out, dancing, music, and soccer.
Survivors include his parents, Sixtos and Maria Cruz of Hugoton, KS.; four brothers, Jorge Cruz and wife Josselyn, Mexico; Brian Duran, Satanta, KS.; Joseph Cruz and wife Nidia, Hugoton, KS.; Emiliano Cruz, Hugoton, KS.; paternal grandmother, Josephina Cruz, Hugoton, KS.; maternal grandfather, Nemesio Cardona, Mexico; niece and nephew, Destiny and Ian Cruz, Mexico; aunts and uncles, David Cruz, Luis Cruz, Ana Cruz, Olivia Cruz, Carmen Cruz, Jose Coreno, Olga Cruz, Guillermo Cruz; cousins, Juan Cruz, David Cruz, Jeison Coreno, Ana Cruz, Luis Cruz, Yacquelin Coreno, Modesto Cruz, Mayte Cruz, Yasmin Cruz, Gustavo Cruz, Jose Coreno, Gael Cruz, Yaretzi Coreno, Marcos Cortes, Magaly Cortes; and many other relatives and friends.
His maternal grandmother, Martha Cardona, and paternal grandfather, Modesto Cruz, preceded him in death.

Rosary will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 7 P.M. at St. Helen Catholic Church, Hugoton, Kansas.
Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 10 A.M. at St. Helen Catholic Church, Hugoton, Kansas.
Burial will be following at Hugoton Cemetery, Hugoton, Kansas.
Visitation will be Monday, March 20, 2023, from 2 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Tuesday, March 21, 2023, from 11 A.M. to 4 P.M. at Robson Funeral Home, Hugoton,
