John Preston Schell

John Preston Schell, age 38, passed away suddenly at his Kansas City, Missouri, residence, Tuesday, November 3, 2020.

He was born March 19, 1982, at Liberal, Kansas, the son of Dale and Lorraine (Williams) Schell. As a young boy, he attended school in Plains, graduating from Southwestern Heights High School in 2000. He later attended Wichita State University, receiving his bachelor’s degree. He was an apartment manager and an UBER driver.

He enjoyed music, woodworking, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Dale and Lorraine; two brothers, Clinton Schell and Shane Schell; his maternal grandmother, Roberta Williams; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John & Leona Schell, and his maternal grandfather, Robert Williams.

Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held at a later date.

Fidler-Orme-Bachman Mortuary, Meade, Kansas, is in charge of arrangements.
