John Eddy Campbell, 68, died Monday, September 14, 2015 at Wheatridge Nursing Home, Liberal.
The son John & Oletia (Riggs) Campbell, he was born on October 13, 1946 at Liberal, KS.
He was a life time resident of Stevens County, Kansas.
He and Elda Martin were married on February 13, 1981, Hugoton, KS.
He served his country in the National Guard. He was a member of the American Legion.
Survivors include three sons, Clinton Campbell & Janice, Henderson, NV, Jimmy Campbell, Liberal, KS, Will Campbell, Kansas City, KS; six step grandchildren, Lynda Hinnergardt & husband Jay, Liberal, KS, Shane Adams, Columbus, OH, Cindy Mankin & Jack, Columbus, OH, Jeff Adams & wife Josie, Andover, KS, Kelley Rome, & husband Larry, Liberal, KS; two brothers, Bill Campbell, Liberal, KS, Steve Campbell & wife Marsha, Hugoton, KS; a sister, Kristi Kuehn, Woodward, Ok and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, stepson, Kevin Adams, Granddaughter, Erica Walsh.
A memorial has been established for American Legion, Hooker, OK. Memorials may be mailed to Paul’s Funeral Home, PO Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 10AM at Trinity Baptist Church, Hugoton, KS and inurnment will be at later date.
Paul’s Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends may call Thursday 10am to 8pm & Friday 1PM to 8PM at the funeral home.
