JoAnn Cashero, 89, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the Liberal Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Liberal, KS.

She was born on December 17, 1932 to Joseph and Esther (McLead) Cashero at Scammon, KS.

JoAnn was a graduate of Mineral High School of Mineral, KS. She had worked as a sales clerk for Kress Dept. Store in Wichita, KS; she also cleaned hotels and homes. JoAnn had many talents including, writing songs & poetry, playing the guitar, and singing. She enjoyed listening to Blue Grass, bird watching, shopping, and being out & about. JoAnn frequently attended the St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Liberal.

JoAnn is survived by her Sister, Loretta Sallee of Liberal, KS; Four Nieces, Cheryl Bickerstaff of Liberal, KS, Cindy Sena and husband Sam of Liberal, KS, Pamela Bailey and husband David of Vincent, OH, and Teresa Cashero of Liberal, KS; One Nephew, Kenton Sallee of Topeka, KS.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Brother, Seven Sisters, Brother in Law, Kenneth Sallee, Nephew, Clifton Brian Bickerstaff.

Cremation was entrusted to Miller Mortuary of Liberal.
