Jo Ann Catherine Sigman, 77, passed from this life Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Satanta Long Term Care, Satanta, KS.
Jo Ann was born to Alphonse and Catherine (Polan) Kerschen on August 2, 1941 in Scott City, KS. Alphonse and Catherine preceded her in death. She was the oldest of 11 children.
Ralph Augustus Sigman and JoAnn Catherine Kerschen were married November 29, 1941, Wichita, KS. To this marriage were five children; Damian, Karla, Gina, Lonnie, and Robin.
Jo Ann loved to grow gardens with her husband, Ralph. She enjoyed researching of her family genealogy. She was very active within her community. When her children were younger, she helped their 4-H clubs by being a leader for them. She was the member of Women’s AGlow. She was also a member of Sunrise Ministries of Longmont, CO. Ralph and JoAnn attended Seeds of Hope Church in Sublette.
Survivors include husband, Ralph Sigman, Satanta, KS; son, Damian Sigman and wife Johanna, Woodland Park, CO; two daughters, Gina Banuelos and husband Jorge, Holdrege, NE, Robin Sunderland and husband Wade, Satanta, KS; five brothers, James Kerschen and wife Kathy, Wichita, KS, LeRoy Kerschen and wife Carolyn, Wichita, KS, Thomas Kerschen and wife Nora, Dighton, KS, Joseph Kerschen and wife Paula, Valley Center, KS, Dale Kerschen and wife Barbara, Aurora, CO; two sisters, Lorena Forrest and husband Steve, Wichita, KS, Mary Winter and husband Ken, Wichita, KS; grandchildren, Cody McGehee and his wife Nicole, Pampa, TX, Dakota McGehee, Lubbock, TX, Jorge Jr. Banuelos, Salinas, CA, Rafael Banuelos, Holdrege, NE, Boston Sunderland and wife Kylie, Satanta, KS, Jessie “Lake” Sunderland, Satanta, KS, Brooke Kubin-Bates and husband Justin, San Fransico, CA.
Jo Ann was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Karla; infant son, Lonnie; two sisters, Laura Kerschen and Jean Berning-Schawe; infant brother, Donnie Kerschen; grandchild, Lee Bates.

Friends may call Friday, February 15, 2019 from 10 AM to 8 PM at Robson Funeral Home, Satanta, KS.
Memorial service will be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11 AM at First Baptist Church, Satanta, KS with Pastor Rod Klingsick presiding. Burial will take place later at Dudley Township, Satanta, KS.
