Jesus Amelia Ruiz

Jesus Amelia Ruiz, 60, of Liberal, passed away on Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 21, 1962 to Efren and Evangelina (Sauceda) Yanez at Sinoloa, Mexico.

On August 2, 2015 she married Francisco Ruiz in Liberal, KS.

She worked for 15 years at National Beef Packing and also worked part-time at Mortgages Unlimited. She enjoyed cleaning, dancing, cooking, and seafood. She was the “joy of life” for all those around her and loved to be with her family and grand babies!

Jesus Amelia is survived by her loving husband Fransisco, Three Daughters, Amelia Benitez of Oxnard, CA, Andreina Ruiz of San Antonio, TX, Yanira Francisca Ruiz of Amarillo, TX; Two Sons, Jorge Antonio Salazar of Liberal, KS, Francisco Nicolas Ruiz of Liberal, KS; five grand children with one the way; her parents, Efren and Evangelina Yanez of Liberal, KS; one brother and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by one brother.

Viewing will be 2:00 pm – 7:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Miller Mortuary, Liberal, Kansas.

Rosary Service will be at 10:00 am Friday, May 26, 2023 at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church with the Funeral Mass to follow at 11:00 am.
